Rustom Kerawalla and VIBGYOR Group of Schools Emphasise Quality Alongside Expansion

Rustom Kerawalla and VIBGYOR Group of Schools are preparing for a new phase of expansion with a strong focus on educational quality. The Group’s Annual Leadership Meet in Navi Mumbai brought together principals and leadership members from across India. The three day event provided a platform to discuss the future of education and VIBGYOR’s goal of reaching more than 80 schools.

The gathering was held under the theme “Navigating the Next Horizon: Charting the Course to 80+ Schools.” It reflected the Group’s plans to grow its presence while continuing to create meaningful learning experiences for students. The discussions also focused on the role of school leaders in maintaining high standards during a period of expansion.

Rustom Kerawalla highlighted that the 80+ school vision is not simply about opening new campuses. The larger objective is to ensure that students and families receive a positive and valuable experience. This vision places quality at the centre of the Group’s growth plans.

The Annual Leadership Meet allowed principals to exchange ideas and learn from the experiences of other VIBGYOR campuses. Leaders discussed the needs of students and parents as well as the challenges faced by educators. These conversations helped create a shared understanding of the direction VIBGYOR wants to take in the coming years.

The event included four major panel discussions. The Future of Schooling session focused on how education can respond to changes in society and technology. Schools need to prepare learners for a world that continues to change. This makes flexible learning environments and strong teaching practices increasingly important.

The Parents and Community panel looked at the relationship between schools and families. Parents are an important part of a child’s education. Strong cooperation between families and schools can help create better support for learners.

Another discussion focused on the Teachers of the Future. The session highlighted the need for skilled and committed educators. Teachers have a major influence on how students learn and develop. Building a strong educator base is therefore an important part of VIBGYOR’s long term plans.

The Business of Education panel discussed the practical side of sustainable growth. Expanding a school network requires careful planning and responsible management. VIBGYOR aims to balance these requirements with its focus on education.

Kavita Kerawalla also spoke about the role of principals in creating strong school communities. She highlighted the importance of empowering students parents and teachers.

Motivational sessions by Brigadier Baleyada Muthanna Cariappa and Indian Paralympian Deepa Malik added another dimension to the gathering. Their stories focused on resilience discipline leadership and determination.

Founded in 2004 VIBGYOR Group of Schools has grown to 41 schools across 15 major cities and supports more than 60,000 learners. As Rustom Kerawalla leads the Group towards its 80+ school vision the focus remains on responsible growth and quality education.
